ThessISMUN is a Model United Nations conference taking place every year at the University of Macedonia, Department of International European Economic and Political Studies (D.I.E.E.P.). ThessISMUN is nowadays one of the leading MUN conferences in Europe and aims at gaining every year even more in popularity and recognition.

ThessISMUN 2005 attracted more than 280 participants from all around Greece and abroad. Moreover, ThessISMUN inspired the foundation of Y.S.U.N. - Greece, since all founding members of the Society met during that very conference and moved to the establishment of the Organisation in order to further promote the principles and ideas of the United Nations, which they all uphold.

This year's ThessISMUN will be for the first time jointly organized by the University of MAcedonia along with Y.S.U.N. - Greece. Our Organization and its members, by virtue of the experience and previous work in past M.U.N. Conferences will do their best in order to ensure a successful and well-organised conference.

Y.S.U.N. - Greece commits itself to the effort of further promoting ThessISMUN as a reputable M.U.N. Conference, which wiull be in the agenda of avid M.U.N.ers worldwide in the years to come.
